"This hotel is a real dump. Room was extremely dirty, carpet soiled, cigarette burns in the carpet, big burn on the carpet from an iron, an old dumpy room with poor lighting. I would not stay in this hotel again if it were free. I d asked for a quiet room but even in the area my room was located, I couldn t sleep due to the constant noise. The WiFi in the room, which isn t free, rarely worked or was so slow it rendered using your laptop as an exercise in futility. I wouldn t recommend anyone stay at this hotel." | April 11, 2012

"We loved the layout of the village setting and our wonderful house, but the children asked for a swimming pool. Perhaps the large pond near the reception could be a swimming pool in future. Also the restaurant needs softening as it is very bright and feels unwelcoming. The food was tasty but incredibly salty. I did tell this to the staff, but unless I speak Thai, then it will never change. Perhaps a little more English needs to be understood and perhaps spoken too, although I know this is difficult. Given there are no nearby alternatives for food, then the restaurant needs to be very very good and to cater for all the needs of the guests. Perhaps a few simple western options (low salt might help). If families are staying then simple foods are best (western children do not like spice very much but appreciate things like chicken sate and rice, plain roast chicken, plain quick boiled vegetables like carrot and broccoli). I am sure simple changes can help to make Ayodhara Village a wonderful experience. The location is wonderful if you want somewhere authentically Thai and out of town The boat trip is very nice, stopping at some of the more scenic temples and providing a great morning of exploration. But the location is cut off from any other restaurants. A two day stay is fine, but any more would be too much. Perhaps a pool and a more happy restaurant would help to keep people longer. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | January 23, 2012

"Very disappointed with the room quality (our room was very smelly)and we booked for the upstiar river view room but we got the room downstair instead(which is cheaper) and when we ask the staff for a change, she said all the room are full. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | January 18, 2012

"Excellent small hotel in a stunning location. Helpful friendly staff, clean attractive rooms, pool with a wonderful view. Breakfast very good. Only criticism is A very limited restaurant menu, no Thai food and really boring selection. Otherwise an excellent hotel. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" | as always excellent:-D, June 3, 2011

"Really a nice and quiet place. But not value for money, this Hotel can just get maybe two and half stars. Why can they get three and half stars? Only one receptionist can speak a little bit English, and activities in this hotel very expensive. The room has a very dirty simple bathroom. The food is very disgusting." | July 15, 2011
